Greetings and salutations
Hi there,
I'm a 27 y.o. guy going to school in lovely, but flat London, Ontario. I ride XC (purely recreationally) and I commute rain or shine (although I usually do wuss out and drive in the snow). This seems like a great little web community you have here. I'm actually not new to the webforum scene having been a moderator at www.probetalk.com (website for Ford Probe owners) but as I have become more enthusiastic about my bike, and less so of my car I'm glad I stumbled across this board. Cheers, Doug P.S. Anybody in the London area looking to do a little trail riding I'm always game. |
Is it safe to say that most Ford Probe owners have become less enthusiastic about their cars?
Welcome to the forums. |
Heh. One would think that would almost have to be true, but you'd be surprised. They're just being passed down now from a generation that used them as sporty transportation, to a generation that wants them as platforms for hippopotamus-sized, bass-belching stereo systems.

At least they can be passed down. I once owned a Renault LeCar. When I bought it, someone who had owned a Renault Dauphine warned me that the doors would fall off. He was close: the rear windows fell off. Despite how crummy it was, I really liked driving it. It had character, which none of the cars I've owned since have had.
