Greetings and salutations

Hi there,

I'm a 27 y.o. guy going to school in lovely, but flat London, Ontario. I ride XC (purely recreationally) and I commute rain or shine (although I usually do wuss out and drive in the snow).

This seems like a great little web community you have here. I'm actually not new to the webforum scene having been a moderator at www.probetalk.com (website for Ford Probe owners) but as I have become more enthusiastic about my bike, and less so of my car I'm glad I stumbled across this board.

Cheers,

Doug

P.S. Anybody in the London area looking to do a little trail riding I'm always game.

Is it safe to say that most Ford Probe owners have become less enthusiastic about their cars?

Welcome to the forums.

Heh. One would think that would almost have to be true, but you'd be surprised. They're just being passed down now from a generation that used them as sporty transportation, to a generation that wants them as platforms for hippopotamus-sized, bass-belching stereo systems.

At least they can be passed down. I once owned a Renault LeCar. When I bought it, someone who had owned a Renault Dauphine warned me that the doors would fall off. He was close: the rear windows fell off. Despite how crummy it was, I really liked driving it. It had character, which none of the cars I've owned since have had.
