Hi Tony, welcome to the Forums! There's a lot of great information on here. Hopefully our mild winter will continue, and you'll get lots of time to use that new bike!

Welcome to BikeForums!

I agree with HigherGround, hopefully the warm weather will continue. Although I feel pretty stupid now since I rushed to get my studded tires for this winter.

a6,
check out South Jersey Wheelmen bike club rides. we have several centuries, Get Ready Metric, Bridgeton Zoo Century, and Jersey Devel Century plus weekly regulars. You don't need to do 100km or miles, centuries are sag supported.
welcome x2!

What was the reason for getting a folder? I had a cheap folder that I used for winter riding about 25 yrs ago - I found the short wheelbase made for great manoeuvrability in traffic. I also took it with me when I was working in NYC for 10 wks.

Hi Andrew

I purchased a folder because of its small size, We normally go camping in the summer. And the small size will enable me to take them with us more easily, and also be able to store them away when not in use.

I also liked the look and construction of the folders. I received my Downtube NS today and it is a great looking bike. i cant wait for the weekend to try it out.
