Hello from Shoreline, WA

Hello all,

I've been around reading for a bit, but thought I'd give a formal shout. I rode a little when I was a kid, but just picked it up about six months ago at 27. I started riding a Trek 410 to the UW and I got hooked quick. So hooked I ended up putting together a Motobecane Grand Jubile fixie over my winter break. Now if only I could get all the ice here to melt I'd be back on the road.

The very first house that I bought was in Shoreline, at around 160th and Meridian. Welcome to the forums.

Hello BrianG, you are not alone in wishing that the ice would clear out. Still some huge spots of it here on the East Hill, although yesterday's weather did go a long way to helping melt some of it.

We need to get back to rain mode, it's a lot easier riding the bike in the rain.

Welcome to BF!

I don't believe I have. Where is it? South of the UW or North?

I hate ice! I ended up going to the gym just to ride the bikes their, but it's just not the same. The weather dork said we might be getting even more white stuff Tuesday.

I'm waiting for the northern section (that's the one which was just finished) to connect with the southern section (which starts around the Seattle Processing and Distribution Plant down by East Marginal). GRT/Interurban takes you all the way through Auburn. But there's no clean easy way through Seattle yet.

Hi Brian and welcome to the forums. I used to live around 205th and now live in Millcreek.

Be sure to visit the Pacific Northwest regional section also.
