Hello from new tourer in Atlanta

Hi, I'm a student in Atlanta, I ride an old univega fixie around town and I recently got a Novara Randonee which I am setting up for a cross country tour, summer 2007.

I'm mostly looking for stories, advice on touring and fixed gear bikes and generally immersing myself in cycling.

Hello ratto1101, there's plenty of stories here in the forum, it just depends what you are looking for! If you'd like to throw in some fun, there's Foo.

You might also want to check in with the Southeast regional forum--there are quite a few members from Atlanta and surrounds, including RonH, one of our moderators. He's got some nice photos here of Georgia Rides to the Capitol.

Welcome to BF!

Hi ratto and welcome.
Stop by the Southeast subforum and say hello. Lots of Atl and N Georgia folks here.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - Psalm 103:8

I am a cyclist. I am not the fastest or the fittest. But I will get to where I'm going with a smile on my face.
