reallyoldpunk here!

Hello everyone! I saw people complaining about the mods/admins on the Cyclingforums.com and I knew I had to be a member here. Any group that boots the morons from that site off their board is Ace in my book (just read the "do you carry a gun on your ride" thread as evidence). As a caveat, there are a number of great people on that board. Unfortunately the small minority of miscreants (many who brag about getting kicked off this site) ruins the whole experience. I am from Minneapolis, MN and am looking forward to being a productive (if somewhat a sarcastic curmudgeon) member of this community. Cars-R-Coffins!

Hello R.O.P., we have the best moderators in the business here at BF--not that we don't have fun (see Foo, but it's a lot more fun for everyone when all members feel welcomed.

Having said that, what kind of riding do you do? and

Welcome to BF!

You name it, I do it (or..ahem, have done it ). Road, MTB XC, Downhill, Cyclocross, Track (TG for the Blaine NSC Velodrome!!!) and I commute by bike everywhere (I gave up my vehicles a number of years ago). I used to manage a $3.5mil a year bike shop and ran their MTB team and provided neutral support at regional and a few national races for 6 years. The more I search the forums here, I am positive I have found the perfect spot for my bike habit! Cheers everyone!

Yes, but how are you at Classic & Vintage?

If you've got anything special, we need pictures, please!

Weird thing is, i don't have many pictures of my bikes. I will have to change that.

I do have a photo of the "hand job" from my Ibis Cousin It frame before I built it up...

...and my "retro" DH bike...

But that's it for now. My real pride and joy is my Walter Croll Custom track bike with SunTour Superbe Pro and Mavic Piste rims!!! Meh...sorry about the picture size, i will resize in the future. (Actually it should resize soon as i edited my photobucket link.)

Nope! But I do know Hurl, the brains behind the outfit. Not a finer man to be found!!

And yes '77 era is when I got into punk. I have been putting on shows since 1980 and have tons of stories about your fave punk (and mainstream) bands. Ask me in PM though, cuz I don't want to seem like I am name dropping.)
