Hello from Connecticut

I just bought two new bikes. One for me & one for my wife. They are both 2007 Raleigh Venture 4.0s. I needed another form of exercise since I suffered a heart attack last November and have been using a new treadmill since. I hope to learn as much as I can so as to enjoy our new bikes. Fortunately we live on the shoreline and there seems to be nice rides available to us.

Cheers

Hello CTYankee, nice avatar you've got there--a photo taken by you? Ospreys are fun, there's a pair who nest every year near to where I used to work.

I take it that your doctor's told you it's all right to go with the bikes? We've got quite a few forums where you can get some helpful advice--the 50+ forum in particular has got a number of folks who've been through the same thing...

Welcome to BF!
