Hello from Brisbane, Australia
Hello everybody
I have had cycling forced upon me by my government taking my licence away from me for speeding. Even though I work night shift , I am kind of glad it has happened as I have been meaning to exercise for ever but never got around to it. Now I have to. Unfortunately I start my ride at the bottom of a big hill so buggered by the top but have noticed that even after only a few days my heart is getting stronger and it takes me less time to recover. Six months time I will be superfit like I was in my youth |
Glad to hear it! Keep us posted on how your progress comes!
Welcome to bikeforums! |
Good to have yet another Aussie on the forums.
Welcome. Let's hope you choose to stay cycling even after you get your license back.:) |
Welcome aboard!
Maybe you'll get a ticket for speeding on your bike... That'll be something and less likely to kill anyone but yourself! :) |
Oh! I am such a sucker for Aussie accents. Welcome to Bikeforums, Ramon. Wanna be my boyfriend?
 |
Welcome aboard, dude! I'm not that far away from you. Incidentally, it's my life-long ambition to get a speeding ticket on my bike!
|
Thanks for the welcome.
It has become a new ambition for me not to get the ticket but to break the limit . First day with speedo 57.7 Km per hour next day 58.6 km per hour and yesterday 59 Km per hour. Taking a couple of days of now to recover from 20 km rides. A.Troll at 100 kilo's I would probably be fairly punny for your taste |
