Hello All

Hello all....my name is Babber and I'm from Kelowna, BC, Canada. I'm 33 years old and have redisovered biking in the last few years. I ride mainly downhill and x-country but do commute to work and back occassionally on an old Fiori road bike I bought off a friend for a case of beer. I ride a 2005 Norco Shore for my downhill excurions and a 2002 Oryx Equipe 175 for my x-country needs. The reason I joined Bike Forums was to get some info on the different brands of bike tools as I'm starting to do my own maintenance since it costs me on average a hundred bucks every time I go to the shop. Talk to everyone soon.

Hello Babber, you are not the only member from Kelowna! Take a look at the Western Canada regional forum and say hi to the locals. You should glean a lot of information from the Bicycle Mechanics forum, and you might also want to stop by the Classic & Vintage forum with some photos of that Fiori...

Welcome to BF!

Well, in this case--probably . 'Vintage' usually means that the bike has a lugged frame (depending on the model, of course). The rider may or may not be vintage as well... .

Thanks for the welcome....I've already had some helpful responses for my bike tool questions. I'm glad I discovered this forum. Hope I can return the favour and help someone else out one day.
