Hello from Michigan's thumb
I've been lurking and learning for a while and my husband and I just bought a Trek 7500 and Trek 7200 at our LBS. We are in our late 50's and wanted bikes for evening county rides and recreational rides on vacation weekends. Until we got the bikes I hadn't been on a bike in more years than I care to remember but it sure came back and is really fun. Thanks to all that cleared up questions and mysteries for me. I'll keep watching and reading.

Hello Laura, don't just watch and read, we'd love to read about some of your experiences eventually. That's what keeps Bike Forums such a vibrant community--when the members share their day

Welcome Laura, and welcome back to riding. Take it slow at first, and above all else, ride safely,
