Bosley, New Member
I llive in Charleston, SC, and I ride a road bike. I ride a Specialized Roubaix that I got after having gotten run over by a car about a year and a half ago. It has been pretty much trouble free. I mostly ride on one of our Coastal Cyclists group rides and led one on James Island, myself. Charleston is a beautiful city, but biking can be hazardous here. We are working on that problem.

Hello Bosley. That sounds like a painful experience that got you your Roubaix  .
How are you working on correcting the hazardous cycling in Charleston? Are you a member of an advocacy group? Welcome to BF! East Hill |
Advocacy in Charleston
Thank you for that welcoming. Yes, I am a member of Coastal Cyclists which is an advocacy group. It is affiliated with the Palmetto Cycling Coalition and the League of American Cyclists. I led a bike group for a while, myself, and I write letters to city and county officials about the need to improve cycling in Charleston. On May 9, I am attending a mayor's proclamation of Bike Month in Summerville, an adjacent town.

Bosley, you sound like a perfect candidate for the A & S forum (just mind the snapping :) ).
