Road Bike Novice
My wife has been spinning at the local fitness center and really likes it. I am looking at purchasing an intermediate road bike. I have searched on line and found a Tommaso Mondial that was in my price range under $1000 with decent components. What do you think or do you have other suggestions.

Looks like a decent bike...as long as it fits you...can you take it for a test ride? If not, or if you are not comfortable assembling it, you might want to shop your local bike shops and give a few other bikes some test rides.

I would second the 'if it fits you'. Have you taken a look at the local bikes shops to get an idea of fit?

Take a look in the regional forums for the Northeast forum , and say hello to the locals.
