Greetings from Central NY
Hello, new member here checking in.
I live in Cortland, NY (about 30 miles south of Syracuse) and am an engineer by training but a bodger at heart. I have been butchering cars, trucks, machinery and wood for as long as I can remember, so framebuilding seems a natural for me.
I've been away from cycling for a number of years and starting to get back into it for health reasons (doctor's orders and all that). In a serious effort to lose the spare tire and get the cholesterol down, I started to look into cycling again.
My current project is a clone of the Easy Racers' Tour Easy recumbent bike. It is being built as a combination of the plans which Easy Racers published many years ago and those shown on Andy Carson's web site, www.recycledrecumbent.com.
That's it for now.
Mike

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Hello Mike, I haven't seen any further posts from you--I hope that doesn't mean that you don't like BikeForums .
Do you have any interest in vintage bikes? Seems as if that would be right up your alley, seeing as you enjoy bodgering .
Welcome to BF!
