Boston Commuter

Hello all!

Just wanted to say hi! I'm a web designer/developer for Virb Inc. during the day, and creator/developer of Out For A Ride at night.

I love bicycling, I just wish I had more money to support my addiction. I own a Trek SU100 and an old Trek Antelope 830.

Hello teevio, you like those mountain bikes, eh? Check in with the Northeast regional forum to find more Bostonians.

How old is the Antelope? Old enough to part of our classic mountain bike thread in the Classic & Vintage forum?

Craigslist has allowed many of us to expand our stable whilst keeping our sanity more or less in check .

Welcome to BF!

The Antelope 830 is a 1994 and the SU100 is a 2006. The SU100 is actually not a mountain bike, but Trek's version of the urban commuter bike.

The thing is I'm not looking to sell my bikes, as I enjoy them immensely. But there are plenty of bikes out there that I'd definitely want to buy if I had the money.

The Antelope is a sweet looking ride, although right on the cusp for the C & V crowd. I don't think I've ever seen the SU100 in the flesh...

There are quite a few bikes I would want to buy IF they came in my size , never mind how much they cost.
