Hello everyone from So Cal
 

I was a very enthusiastic cyclist 20 years ago while in High School but with family, work, finances I haven't been able to ride until recently. I just bought an MTN bike and road bike over the last 3-4 months and I've been building up my gear portfolio. Now it's time to ride and shed the excess 45 lbs.

Current bikes:

Trek 2200 (Red) with Ultegra / Bontrager Race

Santa Cruz Chameleon with a mixed group of XT / Deore

Looking for peers (location and situation, if you know what I'm sayin')

I'm in the Redlands, CA area (East Highland) great place for cyclists :D :D .

Hello Sportute--you should be able to find plenty of folks in your area, just check the regional forums. SoCal has a lot going on, every weekend, if not every day.
