What up

Hey guys and girls. My name is Taylor, im 23, and have been a mechanic for almost 5 years. I am somewhat hesitant to announce that in all my years being involved with cycling, this is the first time I've been to this site.

I am at home on a mountain bike, preferably a full suspension with 5"+ of travel, pointed down the side of a hill, but I do have a certain fondness for my road bikes.

Hello Taylor, I am certain you will find a home in the Bicycle Mechanics forum, then :D . Apparently there is also a private forum for professional mechanics--you may wish to enquire of a moderator about access if you are interested.

What MTB have you got, and what road bikes? Do you repair vintage bikes as well?

Oh yes, where are you located?

Welcome to BF!

Hey Taylor, I feel the same way about all my machines! Welcome.

Well among others, a Transition Bottle Rocket, and a Cannondale R5000si (back from before the carbon cannondales) are the ones that see the most use. I have been getting more and more into repairing vintage bike, my favorites are early eighties.

As for location, Im currently living in Raleigh, NC but will be moving to the Seattle area around the first week of July.

And thanks for the pro mechanics section!

Seattle?! Where are you going to be? Do you know yet? Where are you going to be working?

I'll hope to meet you if you're down in the south end :) .
