Newbie in Connecticut

My name is Amy and I live in East Granby. I am a married mother of 2 who has found it VERY difficult to find time to exercise. I decided today that I need to do something and so I went out and bought a comfort bike. I plan on riding every day for sheer enjoyment at first, then hoping to get a work out from it eventually. If anyone has any advice and/or encouragement I'd be glad to hear from you!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

First off, Amy, welcome to Bike Forums!

Also welcome to cycling!

Look around and find the local bike club, first off! Hook up with other riders, groups are a lot of fuN!

Hello Amy, I see you've found the regional forums, so what bike did you get yourself? Are your kids old enough to join you?

Welcome to BF!
