Hello all. I bought my first road bike (Giant OCR1) few years ago and rode it 2-4 times a week. My weekday trip is about 23 miles and on weekend it's up to 50 miles. On Thursday I am planning my first commute to work. It's 23 miles one way. If everything is working like I plan than I am going to commute 4 times a week weather permitted.
Yesterday I found out that our city bike club has a Century in August. So I decided to try myself and was looking for the information how to prepare for a century. I have no problem with a distance, I just want to finish in less than 6 hours. That is how I found this fine forum :)
