ya bet cha!

Hi all,
Nice forum with helpful info! I found this site after deciding I should get a serious bike. My first 4 bikes (from wally, target) were total disasters.

All four ended up going back to the stores because something happened to the right pedals (they made funny cracking noise after being used for awhile). Could be the way I bike . Can anyone tell me what I do wrong? Could it be because of years of Taekwondo training?

There is another thread going on now about the quality of bikes one finds in *mart.

Here is the link - kmart bikes . I agree with the other recommendations that you should go to a real bike shop (LBS) to get a new bike. One of the major differences is that the bike you will get will be adjusted and put together properly. Quality of components will be another. That means no more broken pedals after normal riding.

Welcome and good luck,
-Duncan
