Greetings from Illinois
Hello to all. Not much good at introductions. I've been riding for years, never anything serious though. Mostly recreational and fixing the kids bikes. I just got back on a road bike this year after doing mountain bikes for several years due to back problems.
I'm in the process of restoring a road bike which caught my eye in a junk heap. Its actually together and working, but I've got plenty of bugs to work out. Which is what led me to this web site. I hope to contribute as much as I take and not to argue too much.

Whoo-hoo!
Another person from Illinois! Welcome!
I'm sure you'll find a lot of helpful advice in the Bicycle Mechanics section. Plenty of folks have rebuilt bikes and asked questions here. I hope to see you posting soon!
