Joshua here, from central California. Visalia, if that makes any sense to you.

I regularly ride my cheap old trek 1000 to and from work daily

I've recently fixed up and old generic hardtail MTB that I ride on weekends. I've only ever ridden in our Bureau of Land Management land up in a small mountain town about 30 min from here. (Three Rivers, CA - south of NORTH FORK DRIVE)

I'm currently looking into purchasing an Xtracycle but am still trying to decide which type of bike to put it on.

My myspace is boring but you can probably get a better sense of my personality there. I tend to come across as really dry in forums and writing in general.

Really excited to be here,
Joshua

Hello Joshua, you live in a wonderful, if hot part of the world. Do you ever ride in Sequoia NP, or is that too much considering that you've got BLM land all around there?

Do you see many commuters in Visalia? I can't imagine that you would, but perhaps there are more than I would think.

Welcome to BF!

I've never ridden there but I hike there all the time. I strongly suggest the Marble Falls Trail starting out of the Potwisha Campground. Bring plenty of water

I have never really looked up any MTB trails in Sequoia.
That's a good idea.
