Hello from Manhattan, Kansas!

Hi all, I'm Abie, a grad student at Kansas State U. I began cycling seriously a few months ago on an enormously heavy 40 lb mountain bike, and have recently moved up to an old Citane road bike.

Hello Abie, what are you studying at KSU? And, do you have photos of the Gitane?

Welcome to BF!

abie said Citane and you said Gitane, is there any difference with the two? i just bought an old Cycles Citane road bike and i can't find any information about it at all on the internet. i want to know the year and whether their is a guide online. do you, or does anybody know anything about the Citane brand?

In 1976 I bought an old ford 8N tractor in Manhattan. We were clearing brush outside of Silver Lake. I lived on Pine st. Man I'm getting old.

After a 40 lb bike, anything would be light.
