Hello from Lithuania
Hi,
so a little introduction. last year bought scott sportster p4 for commuting and short trips and realised, that i want to do the longer trips, but as always there some problems with holidays, so this year i managed to do only a 300km trip to sea on a 3days long weekend... but hope to do better next year :) and for now i usually do one day 60-160km trips with other cyclists or alone thats all i think |
Cheers and welcome to the Forums. I've been planning a trip to the Curonian Spit and the Lagoon, it would be interesting to see the dunes.

Hello from Riga and welcome to the boards!
Where do you go cycling in Lithuania? I spent a week in Nida this summer, but we didn't bring our bikes. |

great choice. last year they finally completed the bike road there, so you will travel easilly. also Curonian Spit is very quiet , because almoust all lithuanians goes to palanga, so you'll enjoy riding there. a lot of nice views also. have a good trip
ps there is a quiet nice camp in Nida if you prefer sleeping in a tent i live in Vilnius, so usually it's somewhere near it. but also in the Curonian Spit and one trip from Kedainiai to Klaipeda riding almoust all way along Nemunas river |

The path along the sea coast was only finished last year? It's a very nice path, and my wife and I thought it must have been from Soviet times just because now it would be so expensive to lay such a long brick path. Do you know when it was started?
