London all-terrain enthusiast

Hello,

I'm a keen biker living in London. I am interested not only in road cycling but also the trails, and I hope to find a machine that works very well at both (right now I ride a Carrera from Halfords :( ). At present I can't decide between a hardtail MTB and a cyclo-cross. I also hope to find some good off-road biking routes within easy driving distance from London. And do my best to help out any other forum members, bike noob though I am.

Hello pm63, if you are that interested in not only road cycling but in trails, you may very well want to get a cyclocross bike. The experts are in the Cyclocross forum, though (I'm certainly not an expert in cyclocross).
