Hello from Austria

I took the plunge and emigrated to Austria to run our mountain bike holidays in the Tyrol. Used to mountain bike all the time in West Yorkshire, around Hebden Bridge, Tod and Halifax. Love the riding out here, its big, steep and challenging (if you want it!). Anyway just wanted to say hi on this forum, hopefully I'll be able to provide a bit of info along the way.

all the best

Hello Keith, Yorkshire in general looks like a great place to ride mountain bikes!

You'll have to show us some photographs, both of YKS and Austria, when you have a chance.

Welcome to BF!

Hi EastHill,

Yeah Yorkshire was and is a great place to mountain bike, I'll miss the peat moors and yorkshire bridlepaths. Give us a shout if you want a few routes that I used to do. I've a load of photos up of the mountain biking in Austria, need to get a few more action shots in there but hopefully it gives you a good idea what its like. Any suggestion for the site would be great. Anyway here is the links to the photos. Any problems just let me know....
