Introduction

Hello, from the (sunny) Left Coast of Canada!

I caught the cycling bug a few years back when my tennis partner lent me his spare road bike. It was great and I loved riding, but I am 6'5" and I had serious fit and comfort issues with it. I bought a SWB recumbent a little later and rode for a while, but I could not keep up on the social rides and want to get a road bike. Budget is an issue, so I am going to buy a frame on ebay, forks where I can find 'em and most components from my friend as he upgrades his bikes. I will be watching the forums for more knowledge as I build my bike.

As well, any homebrewers out there can visit me and the other beer geeks on the Bodensatz.com forum.

Cheers!

Hello B'Villebrewr--lots of beer fans here, I'm surprised they don't press for their own forum (well, actually they do--it's called 'Foo').

Enjoy reading through the forums--check out the stickies in the various forums, then ask questions .

Welcome to BF!

I've done some homebrewing, but I've not done anything for the past several years. Perhaps you've motivated me!

Welcome to BikeForums!!

Thanks! I picked my hops today and am getting pretty excited about my first brew of the fall in a few weeks. You should brew again, it is great fun.

Checked out the Foo discussions. You have some knowledgeable beer folks here. (Nothing better than a nice cool one after a long ride)

Cheers!
