biker mama

My first bike did not have training wheels. I am new to forums; this is my first one, but I am not new to cycling. I started riding when I was 4. I pushed my brother's schwinn to the curb, hopped on the seat, and coasted down the hill. I could not reach the pedals which were also the brakes. I stopped the bike by crashing onto the neighbor's lawn. My brother found a bike in the gully that was more my size albeit a little more rusty. The front axil sheered off after three days causing me to endo. My parents bought me a new huffy "sting ray" for my 5th birthday. I rode more than one set of tires off that bike until I got my Varsity at age 12, which I rode until it was stolen about three years later. Now I have a lot of bikes, and I am getting a 1995 Colnago Decor tomorrow with chorus campy, which will probably become my new favorit ride. Later I'll post some pictures of my growing collection.

I am 43, married, grandmother, love animals, motorcycles, gardening, interior design, bikes and my family; not necessarily in that order.

I look forward to meeting you all in cyber space.

Photos of the collection would be good !

Check out the regional forum for Northern California, too. What kind of pets have you got?

Welcome to BF!

I still have to figure out how to post pictures. I got the Colnogo. Love it! I have a boxer, a german shepheard, a big grey cat, and fish.
