Greetings From The Bright Lights Of The Big Apple!
Hi Everybody!
I'm Night Hawk from New York City! I'm a recently retired female Law Enforcement Officer who is geting back into riding!
I now have the time but not the weather.
The New York area has been plagued by :
1) Extreme Humidity
2) Severe Electrical Storms
3) Torrential Rains
4) The All Time Favorite ---- B*L*A*C*K*O*U*T* -----
I was Extremely surprised that everything went so PEACEABLY!
I guess the Times Are A Changin'
Especially since 911!
I need to get back into riding I miss it terribly! When I rode consistantly I found it exhilerating - refreshing - and a peadeable journey for me mentally! A long ride on a pleasant especially cool day = a vacation for me!
I'll start back riding locally with my Raleigh 7000 MTB with XTR Set Up. Gradually I'll build up to finally use my Cannondale R2000 CAAD 4 Dble - All Ultegra Team Saecco Replica! :
I'd love to hear from fellow riders with any suggestions for "easing" back into riding!

Welcome. I'm glad you've got the power back on; that must have been quite the experience.

Thanks for the cordial Welcome! The Rig I really had my eye on about a year ago was the Colnago "Ferrari!" What a MASTERPIECE! It's esthetically pleasing to the eye and very well designed and engineered! Price tag ---- $10,000.00 Plus Tax!
