Well, a neighbor gave me an old Puegoet triathlon that was laying around, i put new tubes and tires on it and cleaned it up and was riding that. then a buddy invited me for a SUPER easy Sunday ride (yep, almost killed me) and after seeing my bike took pity and offered his Cinelli to see what a "good" bike rides like. So after purchasing some pedals for it and shoes for me, thats what i will be riding this Sunday. On a side note i got Speedplay pedals and put them on the bike and after mounting the cleats on my shoes i finally got snapped in...
and almost fell through a sliding glass patio door before i got them disengaged...

That is some buddy . You are very fortunate!

Enjoy that ride, for sure . (don't forget the obligatory slow motion fall whilst clipped in, too).

LOL, hope no one brings a camera, it hasnt quite happened yet, lets hope no one has a camera going.....
Seeing as my buddy has some other megabuck bikes something like Issac ? and Specialized something (sorry, ill try to catch up Sunday when i look at all the other riders bikes) do you think he has an ulterior motive to have me riding this sweet bike? I see it has Mavic Kyszium rims and carbon forks(etc) with Ultegra
components (sorry about any misspellings) So light too, i guess its a step up from the vintage i picked up to start riding.(ok d'oh, no question)
If i dont post again, i'll be laying on the side of a road somewhere in Alpine.....
Cheers!
DD
Oh, still smoking(long time habit) but i pick up a new medicine next week (nicotine inhibitor?) and start that, and i'm sure i am going to have to get the patch....start barking at everyone, etc....

Yes, I'd have to say that your buddy has an ulterior motive . As in, I think he wants to set the hook and reel you in .

If he has an Isaac, he has a very special frame. Wow! We'll need photos of all these bikes.

[we don't need a photo of the slo-mo fall, though ]
