Hello from Northern Ireland
glad to make your acquaintance .
Im from northern ireland , I ride a Ventura Aluminium hybrid with 700 x 25mm continental ultra gatorskin tyres , I also use shimano SBD cleated shoes and shimano matching pedals. I average 17-18 mph which im sure is nowhere near what some of you guys do but I have relapsing and remitting Multiple Sclerosis and unfortunately have to respect the limits my body places upon me . I am 38 by the way and married with 2 gorgeous young girls .
well thats me...........look forward to gaining further cycling knowledge from a forum such as this .....cheers.
Jimmy

Welcome. Good to have you. Aside from the usual BS. this is overall a good forum with much information and camaraderie. Also, now we know who to look up should we ever visit N. Ireland.

Hello Jimmy, I think that if you are managing to do as well as you are with MS we will certainly not find fault here, but rather, kudos!
I hope that the MS progression is very slow, and that your symptoms are resolved when in remittance?
Welcome to BF!

Hello Jimmy and welcome! You sound very quick -- much faster than me. Do you ride with a club? There are loads of them about, if you are near a big town or city.

Hello Jimmy. Welcome aboard.
There is an old geezer called Sheldon Brown with a Phenominal website about all things bicycling. He also happens to have MS. If you would like, you could start out at this page.

Besides the fascinating reading on his website, I'm sure the two of you would have much to discuss.
