Capricorn is alive.

HI!
I'm 81 years old, married with four grown kids and 5 grandkids. I've been riding a bike since about 5 years old. I've built a couple of bikes from parts etc. and have not graduated to a sport hybrid by Raleigh with 700c wheels. Back to basics in that department. It's aluminum frame, suspension fork, seat post and grippy tires. Until year before last I would bike across the river for a workout and then back home. Lately I've had problems with motivation, feeling up to making that supreme effort, and worrying about the weather. I eventually got myself a BA in Social Anthropology, so I'm curious about anything to do with understanding humans and their nature. Particularly their anticipation of the future of ourselves and whatever we have left to stand on after we, personally are gone. I've had 75 jobs, and about 9 different careers. I'm looking for one more.

Welcome, Capricorn! Motivation is always an issue. But in terms of logistics, the collective knowledge around here is staggering. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Welcome aboard, Capricorn! Good to see ya here!

81 years young, eh? Cool beans and great to see you still active. Every day you are is one more day you live instead of exist (There are lots of 20 somethings that only exist, by the way )
