Hello from Bayin

Hey have been hanging around reading the threads for a bit and finally decided to join up, I have been cycling for as long as I can remember, I think my father and I built my first bike when I was like 3. But once I was able to drive my interest in cycling tapered of until only recently as the rising fuel prices have forced me into commuting to and from work but have been having a blast. Currently I ride 2 bikes a old Diamondback outlook which was a bit of a lemon as it's always breaking down. Also I am riding a borrowed Trek Y-foil which is the niciest bike I have ever ridden.

Anyway hello and I'm sure I'll be posting a lot in the near future.

Hello Bayin, how much of a commute have you got? And where do you do your commuting?

Welcome to BF!

My Commute is 17K door to door, and I ride from Revesby to Homebush, Half the ride is on a bike track (Bay to Bay) so it's a very nice ride, Yesterday there was a huge Traffic Jam that I rode past which I would of normally got stuck in so that was awesome.

I was trying to follow your route on Google, and never could figure out where the track was! Do you go through the cemetary?

My route

No it's not a direct route I head up through Bankstown and Greenarce and then into Strathfield and meet up with the Bay to Bay ride there.

It looks as if it's a good thing you've got a bike track through there--that area looks to be quite closely packed with housing .
