Hi from the wonderful state known as C
My name is Gerd Blanston, and I'm a recovering road racer. (HI GERD!) I realize now it was destroying my life, my career, my marriage. Thankfully I've moved on to other, less time-consuming self-destructive behaviors. Thank you for your support.
I live in CT and I ride year round. Summers I get about 150 a week. Winters I do about 75 a week outdoors on a single speed MB-1 with cruiser tires on account of because they grip well in salt and sand, and also this kid said they would make me cool. The looks I get from people when I ride around with equally frozen water bottles and gonads amuse me.
Stay safe out there.

Gerd,
Welcome. I remember you quite well. Back in '87 at Cat's Hill Crit I was the guy you made crash. I never forget a name and yours is impossible to forget. I hope you leaned how to properly close quick releases now. That was a disaster.
