Hi Y'all, from Little Rock
I haven't been riding nearly as much as I used to (my last century seemed a bit harder than those I'd done in the past), due to a full schedule.
I've gotten my weekends back, however, and between restoring my airplane and sleeping, I should find some riding time.
My sweetie and I are quite fond of our Santana and really enjoy riding it. Unfortunately there aren't many tandems in this area of which we are aware. There is a pretty keen bunch of folks in the Arkansas Bicycle Club, however, and they're usually happy to have us along.

Hey SC -
Welcome aboard. Yes ABC is a great group, I've been trying to find more time for rides with them. There are a lot of groups in town to ride with and I'm also always into a pickup ride. I know sm266 likes riding pretty much anytime she can. Let us know if you need company on a ride sometime.

I'm going to try to ride Saturday afternoon if I don't drag myself out of bed in time for the club ride. I also plan to ride after work tomorrow. Unless something else comes up, I'll probably just do some laps by the river, and maybe into town or something.

How 'bout someone from 'Dogtown'?
After growing up on Garrison Rd, I spent a very long time in the military and now reside in Rose City...
Bought a Centurion LeMans 12 (25 inch frame) while I was in the Bay area in 1984.
All this time this bike has been disassembled after being hit from behind on Mare Island by a caged human; Seeking any idea's how to get this two-wheeler back into operation. Both wheel's are out of round.....
BTW, I still have my original 'Owners Manual', so if anyone needs a copy let me know

I have fallen SOOOO far off the wagon!
I bought myself a new Surly Long Haul trucker, as I was afraid old Jake wouldn't
be able to handle 320 lbs so well. I've ridden it a couple times, and it felt nice...
especially after I mounted a Brooks saddle. I live 2 or 3 miles (hilly miles) from work,
and am trying to get up the nerve to make the trip on the bike.
Back in the day, when I was riding centuries on a regular basis (Hotter'nHell in about 5 hours),
there wouldn't have been any question. I hardly ever drove anywhere. Now... it ain't so easy.
Really REALLY hard to get motivated, especially when I remember how well I rode before. I'll
start down the road, already tired by the first mile, and can only think of how badly I suck.
