hello from NW AR

I lived in Iowa till about Oct. 2005. I used to bike a lot while I lived there, back and forth to work, on the weekends, and into the downtown area for the DSM quizine. I moved to NW AR in Oct. 2005 and figured with all the dirt roads and having my brothers closer that they would want to ride more. Between them really not being into riding, and the birth of my little boy in 2006, my riding has been reduced to about nill. I ended up selling "ole' blue", even though she was actually silver, to a gentleman who was needind a new bike and was riding alot. I figured it would be best to sell while I could still get something out of it before she was just a relic. Ole blue was a Specialized FSR XC, and the gentleman that aquired her has been taking her out like she was made to do. I have been wanting to get out and tear it up again and I got a guy who is willing to motivate me again. I am also thinking about a new dual suspension. I think this time maybe a Trek fuel 5.5 or 6.5. My wife says start riding more and saving and by the time I trim the winter coat off me I will be able to buy me a new ride. Right now I am riding a Specialized Hard Rock sport disk, I have upgraded bar and stem and derailures. Looking forward to chatting with you guys in the future.

Hi BWB, you are not alone in being in Arkansas, there's at least a couple of members here from there, although I'm not entirely certain where...

Whatever you get, have fun and enjoy your riding .

Welcome to BF!
