we go to the Marine's monthly breakfast before rides here in true s nj. the rider i mentioned (age 75) is a Marine for life.
where in Pa are you located? we have some pretty good rides and centuries through the South Jersey Wheelmen bicycle club, an open invite!
enjoy being 'bent!!

Thanks for the invite, but it will be a while 'til I'm up to a century...... and I'm in SouthCentral PA (Chambersburg). About 10 miles north of Hagerstown, MD.

my wife works for susquihanna bank, goes to central office in hagerstown, md quarterly. may be able to meet in your neck of the woods! (i have to pursuade her to let me pack a bike/gear into her newer totota prius). i've toured x-pa from philly to erie (greyhounded back). hear there are some good trails - dirt biking in your area. do you mountain bike as well?

mountain bike???

lol, no I don't. god, I can just imagine how much my neck and shoulders would hurt doing that.

Once a quarter.... I'd be lucky to plan that far out. I'm just hoping to get vacation this year. How hard is it for me to plan? I've gotten 10 days of my vacation time in the past 7 years (even though I get 3 weeks a year).

There are some really good trails in Micheaux state park east of Fayetteville.

thanks! may give micheaux a try.
i also hear that the roads in this area are designed without bicyclists in mind, as virginia beach, a real gamble. probably will give the mtb trails a try prior to road miles!
