Greetings from Balmy Southern Illinois!
Greetings to all from balmy Southern Illinois! Been registered for awhile and gleaning info from you all for quite a bit longer. Not much of a poster, but wanted to say hello to all of you who have helped me. Just turned 50 this year, after spending the last 10 years looking forward it. Plan to spend the next 10 looking forward to 60. I’ve had a road bike for 18+ years, but just started cycling regularly this past May 28 – nearly 1,500 miles since then, with my first metric century yesterday in Evansville, Indiana on the Great Pumpkin Metric. A great ride for those of you who might wonder.

Welcome! Good to finally see you posting, and it's always great to see someone else from Illinois on the site!
I'm taking it you guys are getting good weather down there. The jury's still out on your northern counterparts.
Any pics from your Evansville metric century, by the way?

Weather is great (remember balmy!) and supposed to stay so for a while. Have a ride planned for tomorrow afternoon with a couple of guys I work with. Unfortunately no pics - I'm usually a boy scout, but forgot the camera yesterday. Will remember next time.
