Hello from Jim
hi Folks
I've just decided to get another road bike after a 15 year break. I've had two previous bikes. I used to commute and ride in an informal club. I came to the forum to find out what happened to suicide brake levers. Got all the background on that now, by doing a quick search, so thanks for the help. I've looked at new bikes. They've changed a lot since my last one. Not sure I want carbon fiber though. I saw some new Raleigh bikes on their web page designed for a more upright posture, but still with bull-horn h/bars. I'm going to find a dealer and check them out. |
Cheers Jim, welcome to the Forums. You probably already found the Road Cycling subforum in your search. But do visit other parts of BF as well, and contribute.

Hello Jim, it sounds as if you have not ridden a bike in quite some time! There's still many of us who ride bikes with those suicide brake levers, though, so if you want to indulge in some memories, come check out the Classic & Vintage forum :) .
