Newbie- from Ohio

Just wanted to say HI! and that I am fired up about this year...maybe because I just bought a 2007Madone5.0. Also have a Trek 7200FX.
I live in Marysville, Oh and enjoy the back roads of Union County. I have logged 500+ miles this winter on my spin bike. Plus another 100 in Fla on vacation.
Love to read all about everyone's bikes and setup.

My girlfriend has a '76 Nishiki and will not give it up.
I am also training for the Indy Tour de Cure Century. I have plans for the one in C-bus the week before so I thought it would be great to go around IMS 40 times. See ya there!!

I drive past the Lamborgini's everyday and dream! What routes do you take? I plan on commuting to Dublin Methodist once the weather warms up.

Hi John, everyone's done a great job of saying hi to you already, so I'm going to ask you about the Nishiki . There's a thread in the Classic & Vintage forum for a Nishiki serial number database, and it would be great if you could contribute to it. I have five Nishikis, and love every one of them .

Welcome to BF!

Welcome to the forums.

I live north of Dayton and ride a 2007 Madone5.0, too. Mine's a WSD and I love it.

I've signed up for the Indy tour, too. I'll be doing the one lap around the track and then heading out to the roads.

Have you checked out the Charity Events forum? Team Stormcrowe is a group of BF members doing the ride. We're always looking for more team members.

I did see Team Stormcrowe but I have a group from C-bus and my brother from Michigan and a couple of his buddies. Team Alpha...one of our suppliers is going to help us with jerseys.

Hope to see you there. We're trying for a jersey or t-shirt with the team name.
