Talk about torture...

So, I have been awaiting the delivery of my bike for a couple of weeks. First, it took a week for it to get shipped out. Then cross country transit (tracking it online all the way). Then it comes to my building yesterday (yay!), but our building manager was out sick, so the bike went back with the Fed-Ex person. Then, I see online that it was successfully delivered today! I leave work a little bit early, stop by to grab the wife's birthday present, and head home, really pumped to get the bike. So, I come home to discover that the building manager has left early...and has left the box locked inside the glass conference room in our building. So, not only can I not get it, I have to stare at it, taunting me, every time I come in or out!

It wouldn't be so bad but I am out of town from tomorrow until Sunday night...when I can't get the bike.

Oh well, next Monday, it is mine

Brutal. The bonus is that the anticipation will make it's arrival that much better. I ordered a bike that had to come from Spain. It took months to arrive. It was like I was living in slow motion during the wait. But it was worth it.

Welcome to BF's.

Admit it though--if it was you--you'd probably be breaking into that room and bearing off your prize .

Oh um, big pink star lady?

I think you had better stop at a couple of Big Apple's/Stop-N-Go's before you come in ... I thought I brought enough crowd fodder for the unhatching, but I guess I was wrong.

I don't think the 5 lb bag of M & Ms is enough, you're right.

I'll stop and get some beef jerky and maybe some peanut M & Ms.

Couple of beers?
