Hello from Pa

Hello, I'm a new member of Bike Forums, 51 years young with a goal this year of riding my first double century. At this point I'm looking into the Longest Day, 208 miles in Jersey. Does anyone know of another doubles perhaps later in the year than June...I'd like more time to prepare. I am located in South Central Pa, so rides in Va, Md, Jersey, PA, NY and perhaps Delaware would work...any info would be greatly apperciated along with training tips....THANX....Greg

Hi Greg, your best bet is to ask in the Long Distance Cycling forum, or the regional subforum.

What kind of bike are you riding?

Welcome to BF!

Thanks for the info...much appreciated. I ride a Specialized Tarmac during the season, I love the Tarmac. This time of year I ride a 1977 Panasonic Sport DX, an old steel framed 12 speed outfitted with lights and fenders...put panasonic and specialized together and you get panalized...appreciate your reply.

Very good name!

Take some photos of the Panasonic and show them off in the Classic & Vintage forum .
