MTB in San Diego

Hello,

I have been mountain biking since Oct 2007; I have a Garry Fischer Supercaliper. I ride every weekend usually at a place called Elfin Forest.

Hi BeDVS, sounds good! Are you ever planning on doing some commuting, considering your line of work?

Welcome to BF!

I only live 2.6 miles from my work, so yes I do want to start running or biking to & from work. I just worry about cars running me over, much of the distance between my house & work does not have adequate bike lanes.

Lights, blinkies, safety vest.

Mirror on helmet.

It's actually not that hard, you just have to know that you do have a place on the road and be firm. Definitely check out the Commuting forum.
