Hello from Germany

Hi

I'm new to this forum and just want to introduce myself.

I'm a 35 year old guy from Germany who loves bicycle touring. Since 1996 I travelled with my bike all over globe mostly trips of 3-5 weeks. I've cycled so far in all continents. So my major contributions here will be in the Touring section.

I don't have much knowledge about technical topics and I'm not really interested in. I prefer riding instead of talking/writing about technical stuff.

Since end of last year I have an own homepage: http://thomasontour.de For you unfortunately it so far only in German, but there are some pictures on it. There is a button called "Reisen" (which means trips). There you find all contries where left my footprints (or better wheel traces). If you have any questions about one of these trips don't hesitate to send me questions. (also in German or Spanish if you want)

Thomas

Hello Thomas, it looks as if you had a splendid time in Canada. Vancouver Island is a brilliant place to visit .

Check out the Touring forum--I know the folks there would love to see the photos and hear about your tours.

Welcome to BF!

East Hill

Hi,

I forgot I live in a very very small village southeast of Frankfurt/Main.

Thomas,

Ihr Englisch ist ausgezeichnet! In 2003 my wife and I flew home from Frankfurt/Main. We visited friends and relatives in Ostfriesland, Crailsheim, and Köln. We also spent some time in Mainz, Koblenz, Ludwigshafen, and Nürnberg. Mainz and Koblenz are not exactly your area, but near to it. We were also in Germany in 2001 and in 2007.
