Greetings from Sunshine Coast, Australia
Hello all
I have just got back from a 3 day self-supported bike tour of our local hinterland region and feel both a bit tired (nicely so) and even more enthused about my cycling again.
Have been too busy setting up a new business over the last 12 months or so and have not been able to go on the usually yearly 3 week long adventures of previous years. Seems the perfect time to start planning one now...
I have bicycle toured for the last 20 years or so and even started our local bicycle touring club. I don't think that there is much I prefer to loading up the touring bike, panniers and all and setting off on a road I haven't travelled before.

Welcome to Bike Forums... I think that you will find yourself in the company of many a fine Aussie here and the non Aussies are okay too.
I know that the folks in the touring forum would love to hear about your trip and see any pictures you may have taken.

Hello jenmag, even if you don't have photos of your tours, we always appreciate photos of the bikes . We like looking at the way others set up the bike for various uses, you know.
So, what kind of bike are you using for the touring?
(Sixty Fiver, I do have to go to work every once in a while, much as I hate to do so! ).
Welcome to BF!
