Here to say hello
I found this forum this weekend and I have checked out a few of the threads and decided I would sign up this morning, before I do anything else today. My main bike is a sun cycles ez-sport cx. I picked it up at a yard sale on july 4th of last year. Last year, before the summer was over, I did the 10 mile commute to work almost every day for 2 weeks straight with it. So many of my useless coworkers couldn't believe I rode it that far.......so I told them I walked and it followed me. haha.
I do not have any picks of any of my bicycles at the moment, but should have as it continues to warm up around here and I can get back to riding. I have had it out about 5 times in the last 2 weeks, getting my legs used too it again. The farthest I have went so far is about 6 miles. I really need to get a bike computer for it, as I have no clue how many miles I put on it last year.

Welcome!
Sounds like your co-workers are pretty typical.
The Commuter section of Bike Forums is useful at times. That would be a good spot to get the hang of this place from the sound of your first post, although I find the entire Forum entertaining in one way or another.

Hi Shaggy, I love your answer to your co-workers. I know that my co-workers consider me to be a dangerous subversive because I ride my bike a whole 8.6 miles !
As JoeyBike said, the Commuting forum is a good start, but the whole of BF is fun, and there's nuggets of both wisdom and entertainment galore no matter where you look .
Welcome to BF!

Thank you for the welcome Joeybike and East Hill. I have lurked around a few threads already, and will eventually be posting in them. I would have started already, but after I posted this I went out and rode about 4 miles or so.
