Round is a shape, just not in my book
So.....I'm trying to get back in shape (no round doesn't count) and needed a cardio exercise. I HATE running, ellipticals and treadmills suck, and my diminishing skills and ego will not allow me to play basketball on a consistent basis. I use to ride bikes years ago (17-20; I'm 29 yrs young), so why not give it the old college try. I went out and purchased a Trek 7.2 fx hybrid bike, which I took ownership of yesterday. Took it for the first spin today for a protracted 3 miles roundtrip. :o Give me a break I'm just starting out.
I can freely admitted I know squat about bikes, so I'll be reading and mostly likely asking a lot of questions here. I look forward to talking to some of you in the near future. --gb |
Welcome to the forums. Feel free to visit the Clydesdale forum as well.

Hi gb, as StephenH suggests, definitely check out the Clydesdales/Athenas forum! Lots of nice folks there, and very motivational!
Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) ! East Hill http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...a/pinkstar.jpg |
I'm 6' 3" 165lbs and don't fit that category. I've just started to notice that I've been getting a little bit of a stomach and wanted to rectify that.

Actually, in the world of bicycle racing, you would be considered a Clydesdale (the designation is for men over 200 pounds OR over 6'0" tall).
But, ummm, never mind! East Hill |
Good to know. Thanks
