New Big Guy from Rhode Island
Hello,
My name is Scott and I hail from the lovely state of RI. As the weather is getting nicer (and my waist has been getting bigger) I needed a fun (and family oriented) way to get in shape. As I was talking with a good friend of mine, he convinced me, or at least peaked my interest, to bust the bike back out and start to ride.
He pointed me to this forum as I bombarded him with tons of questions with no idea of what I actually want.
My primary goal is to make some fun bikes that will be ridden on bike baths. I will not be going too fast for the most part as I will have my almost 4yr old son either riding his own bike or on a trail-a-bike towed behind me.
I just picked up a 60's Columbia tandem in rough shape to start as my first project. I look forward to gaining some knowledge and sharing my build as it progresses.
