Greetings Everyone!
Hello All,
I've been lurking around reading your forums for a few days now, and decided to finally join.
I currently have a Giant Acapulco my parents got me back in 1991. It got some use during the first two years, and since then it got put to the side. Although amazingly still in pretty good shape.
I'm now finally getting back into biking, which I used to do everyday when growing up. For Christmas I will be purchasing myself a new Trek mountain bike. I spent my day today driving around my area and the neighboring towns specking out places to ride. I've been spending way too much time behind my computer, which I do all day for a living and have been doing at night too
Hope to get to know you all better and learn from your experiences over the next few months.

Greetings from the midwest,
I have a 1995 GT Karakoram--it's bullet proof and still rolling...)
I don't do much off roading in the Chicago-area...mainly asphalt, concrete and a few light dirt trails.
Made a few changes to my setup during the spring/summer---i replaced my original stock rims with a pair of Velocity Deep V 36 hole rims...cool blue with black spokes...they're running on a set of Hutchinson Top Slick Gold...ATB comp trainers..i was pleasantly surprised to find a pair of skinny's.
Course, now that we're into winter, i'm slapping the fatboys back on.
Happy trails
kj..aka..landrover
