Just wanted to say hi! I recently picked up a bike and haven't been off it since I brought it home I'm planning on some rides up into Wisconsin and hopefully something in Michigan this summer.

Hey thanks for the replies! I didn't think anyone actually read the intro threads Yes that is me in the pic and here's my bike:

I picked it up brand new a little short of 2 weeks ago and have already have 200 miles on it. I' m planning to ride my first century in a few weeks. I'm in Chicago, so if anyone from the area is looking for a riding buddy I'm game

Oh, a Dolce Elite! That was my first decent bike in 2004 . A very nice bike, I might add.

There will always be at least one reply to a new person in Introductions--I am the Official Greeter .

But lots of people read the Intros, and quite a few people respond, too. We like to have people feel comfortable in our community!

My Elite came with the most wonderful saddle, too! I have managed to pick up three or four from eBay, and have them on some of my other bikes. Just a perfect saddle for me .

Never tried a Cannondale, but checked out several other makes, and the Elite was a perfect fit!
