Greetings from Woodside...

Hello everyone, that's Woodside,NY. A long time lurker (especially at work - Big Brother you know) I have been riding on/off, mostly OFF the past 16 years. For the obvious health benefits and the fact that I really enjoy riding , I've been back in the saddle for the past month getting out several times a week. To take liberty rewording an old saying..."A mile a day will keep the Drs. at bay"! Everyone have a safe holiday weekend.

Hi Paulie, what kind of riding do you do, and what bike or bikes are you doing it on?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Hi East Hill, thank you for the welcome. I ride a '91 TREK 7700. Living a stones throw from THE BIG APPLE, my riding presently consists of the streets of NYC. Which IF you are careful isn't all that bad. If your willing you can get some serious mileage in. Have a breat weekend.

I can see where a cross bike would come in handy in NYC!

Yup, gotta get out and ride--that's the best way to have a great weekend .
