riding to work
Hi
I have started a new job at a coal mine about 15 km from the town where I live. On a couple of days a week I get the cycle gear on, ride off to work, shower and change there, then do it all again on the way home.
Let me tell you what a great way a ride through the country is to start your day.
I used to live in a big city and cycle a fair bit but the traffic made this really hazardous, and not as enjoyable. I now live in an area where I can plan long rides without worrying about cars.
I love my bike, and I love riding to work, or anywhere else for that matter.

G'day M!! Welcome to the forums!! I for one would love to hear about some of your adventures in going to work and any other notables...feel free to post them in the Commuting forum here (well the work part anyway). Tho I currently live in the suburbs of a fairly large American city (Cincinnati...it's nowhere near teh size of Melbourne or Sydney), I yearn to live out in the country myself...maybe someday I'll take the leap and do that.
Again, welcome to the forums and happy riding!! And be sure to introduce what kind of bike you have as well...as you can tell, I have a Cannondale now that I just won off an auction on eBay not too long ago from a guy on the other side of the country (gotta love interstate and global commerce on the Web now hehehe-well, it's not for the faint of heart
) that I am presently upgrading some of the parts...and adding others as well, like a new Enduro 2 cyclecomputer from Cateye.
